Salt Lake City Tribune: Has Child Protective Services Outlived Its Usefulness?

Child welfare
systems are under huge scrutiny as never experienced before: budgets cuts, high
worker turnover, tragic incidents. Pressures can bring opportunities if
carefully considered and implemented: maximization of all resources public and
private, cross collaboration with various states systems and entities, workplace
creativity and efficiencies. The article below gives us pause to continue to
think ‘outside-the-box’, while acknowledging the importance of the system.
